December 27, Fineko/abc.az. Life insurance premiums and compensation payments have increased in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ informs with reference to Central Bank's report that for Jan-Nov 2023, premiums on this type of insurance amounted to AZN 461.38 million (AZN 102.108 million, or 28% more versus Jan-Nov 2022).

Over Jan-Nov 2022, this figure reached AZN 359.275 million.

Over the reported term, these types of insurance payments amounted to AZN 269.543 million (AZN 43.878 million, or 19% more than a year earlier).

Over Jan-Nov 2022, insurance compensation payments were made for AZN 225.664 million.

And the harmfulness index for the repored period was 58%. The loss rate has decreased by 4% during this year. Over Jan-Nov 2022, the loss rate was 63%.
