December 21, Fineko/abc.az. Since the beginning of this year, Azerbaijan has exported insurance services for 6 million manats within the international insurance system Green Card, ABC.AZ reports, quoting Central Bank’s general director Ziya Aliyev.

"Our insurers are already issuing Green Card certificates in two countries (Georgia and Kazakhstan). In the coming years, we will be able to reach more countries and sell more Green Cards," he said.

Since 2016, the Compulsory Insurance Bureau has been performing the functions of the National Bureau of Green Cards, which is part of the Council of International Bureaus. The Bureau represents Azerbaijan in the international green card system, acting as a coordinating, specialized organization for the Green Card system.
