December 13, Fineko/abc.az. The first delivery of chicken eggs from Azerbaijan to Russia is expected by the end of this week, and from Türkiye in the near future, ABC.AZ reports, referring to the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia.

"As part of operational measures to ensure the domestic market, it was decided to reduce import duties on chicken eggs to zero, negotiations are underway with friendly countries to increase the supply of these products. The first deliveries from Azerbaijan are expected by the end of this week, and in the near future from Türkiye. As a result, according to forecasts, the price dynamics will stabilize next month," the Ministry says.

According to the Ministry, egg production increased by 2.3% in the first 10 months of 2023 and amounted to 31.74 billion eggs.
