ABC.AZ reports with reference to Goldman’s forecast that analysts predict that by mid-2025, the discount rate in the UK will reach 3%.

It is also predicted that the UK Central Bank will be able to begin its first interest rate cut in August as it balances strong fundamental price pressures with a weak economy.

The bank is expected to keep the cost of borrowing at 5.25% for the third consecutive meeting this week.
