December 7, Fineko/abc.az. As of December 1, 2023, Azerbaijan numbered 1,507,494 taxpayers (7.7% more than on December 1, 2022).

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Tax Service (under the Ministry of Economy) that 87.3% of taxpayers are individuals, 12.7% are legal entities and other organizations.

This year, the number of individual entrepreneurs increased by 7.5%, and the number of companies by 9%.
