December 7, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan has chosen the policy of industrial production development as the leading direction for the non-oil sector.

ABC.AZ reports that Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov said about this at the groundbreaking ceremony of a drug producer enterprise of Gen Pharma Caucasus Manufacturing Operations.

The minister noted that this project is another manifestation of Azerbaijan- Türkiye all-round developed relations, and will be the result of direct investments of the Turkish company in Azerbaijan.

"The production of medicines is of particular importance for each state. Any resource is exhausted and has a limit. However, these limits can be expanded only on the basis of human capital," the minister said.

"The activity of this enterprise is a step towards the development of the pharmaceutical industry," he added.
