November 22, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Sept 2023, transactions for $23.8 billion were made on the foreign exchange market of Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the CBA Monetary Policy Review (9.2% less against Jan-Sept 2022.

Transactions for $21 billion were made in the non-cash payments market, and $2.8 billion in cash payments (6% and 29.2% less, respectively, than a year ago.

79% of non-cash currency transactions were made in US dollars and 21% in other currencies.

In the structure of cash currency transactions, 83.6% were made in US dollars, 16.4% - in other currencies.
