ABC.AZ reports that Aynura Ahmadova, the head of the Marketing & Public Relations Department of the State Agency for Compulsory Medical Insurance.

She added that according to the draft amendments to the Law on Medical Insurance, prepared by the State Agency for Compulsory Medical Insurance, persons who do not work anywhere under an employment or civil contract, as well as are not engaged in entrepreneurial activity, will be able to use compulsory medical insurance services free of charge until 2025.

Contributions for compulsory medical insurance of these persons are paid by the State.

She noted that provision of medical insurance services at the expense of the Mandatory Medical Insurance Fund is proposed to be exempt from VAT for another 3 years.
