November 20, Fineko/abc.az. Currently, there are Free Trade Agreements with 10 countries and the Preferential Trade Agreement with Türkiye, concluded with the aim of increasing non-oil exports.

ABC.AZ reports that Azerbaijani Deputy Minister of Economy Elnur Aliyev said this at the Forum "Customs-Business 2023" organized by the State Customs Committee in Baku.

According to the preferential agreement signed with Türkiye, mutual preferential trade regime is applied to some agricultural and other goods produced by Azerbaijan and Türkiye.

He added that despite decline in world market prices for oil and gas, there is large surplus in the foreign trade balance.
