"It is necessary to strengthen the work on the preparation of financial statements for public sector organizations in accordance with the relevant framework," Accounts Chamber’s chair Vugar Gulmammadov said during his speech at Milli Majlis plenary session on Draft State Budget 2024.

ABC.AZ reports that according to Chamber’s chair, their first audit of consolidated financial statements at the institution level shows that there are problems in this area.

"Problems arise both because of the legal framework and because of gaps in professional potential," he emphasized.
