Consumer prices in Azerbaijan for past 10 months

November 13, Fineko/abc.az. The consumer price index in Azerbaijan for Jan-Oct 2023 made up 110.2% compared with Jan-Oct 2022.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that the CPI for food, beverages and tobacco products amounted to 111.4%, for non-food products 109.5%, for paid services to the population 109.1%.

In October, the CPI was 100.4% compared with September and 103.9% compared with October 2022.

The CPI for food, beverages and tobacco products last month made up 100.8% against the previous month and 103.1% versus the same period of 2022. Of the food products, the largest increase was observed in the prices of rice, beef and lamb, fresh fish, milk, eggs, grapes, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, eggplants, carrots, beets, potatoes, garlic, juice. The decrease was mainly observed in the prices of semolina and buckwheat, bread, table margarine, sunflower and corn oils, tangerines, lemons, kiwi, apples, cabbage, pumpkin, powdered sugar, coffee. There have been no significant changes in the prices of other food products.
