November 7, Fineko/abc.az. From 2024, the deadline for consideration of a complaint by the tax authority in Azerbaijan will be increased by 30 days.

ABC.AZ reports that this is reflected in the draft amendments to the Tax Code.

According to the document, complaints of a taxpayer or other debtor against decisions of a tax authority, actions of an official of a tax authority are considered by a higher tax authority or its official within 30 working days from the date of receipt of this complaint. In cases where it takes more than 30 working days to establish significant circumstances of a complaint, the term of consideration of the complaint may be extended by the tax authority once for 30 working days. The complainant is notified of the extension of the complaint review period within 3 working days.
