November 1, Fineko/abc.az. In Azerbaijan, the premiums on civil liability insurance of motor vehicle owners have increased.

ABC.AZ reports that according to CBA calculations on the basis of the report, the premiums on this type of insurance for Jan-Sept 2023 totaled AZN 2.9 million (785,000 manats or 64.1% more against Jan-Sept 2022 - AZN 1.224 million).

In addition, compensation payments on this type of insurance were in the amount of AZN 30,000. Insurance payments decreased by AZN 53,000, or 2.8-fold, compared with Jan-Sept 2022.

Over Jan-Sept 2022, AZN 83,000 were paid on this type of insurance. In 2022, the loss rate was 6.7% and in 2023 - 1.5%. Compared with last year, the growth was 5.3%.
