October 30, Fineko/abc.az. In 2024, 1.045 billion manats are projected to be allocated from the State Budget for subsidies in 48 areas (structural and unallocated expenditures).

ABC.AZ reports that this is stated in Accounts Chamber’ conclusion on Draft State Budget 2024,

The conclusion says that this is by 636.3 million manats (37.8%) less than the revised figure of 2023.

Next year, compared with the current one, a decrease in both state and non-state and other subsidies to legal entities is projected, the largest decrease in absolute and relative terms is provided for subsidies to state-owned enterprises. As a result of a significant reduction in subsidies to state-owned enterprises, it is projected that the share of expenditures in the total amount of subsidies in this direction will decrease and amount to 41.2%, while other subsidies to legal entities will have the largest share.
