October 30, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijani Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov discussed the issue of expanding the Southern Gas Corridor (SGC) at a meeting with Charles Joseph Cormier, Regional Director for Energy and Infrastructure of the World Bank.

ABC.AZ reports that Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov said this in his account in social network X.

During the meeting, the possibilities of multifaceted cooperation related to energy efficiency and transportation of "green" energy along various routes were also covered.

"At a meeting with the WB Regional Director for Energy and Infrastructure, Charles Joseph Cormier, we discussed the possibilities of multifaceted cooperation related to the expansion of the Southern Gas Corridor, the integration of renewable energy sources into the energy system, the transportation of green energy along various routes and energy efficiency," the minister says.
