October 27, Fineko/abc.az. The amount of capital of Changping Zhao, co-founder and CEO of Binance (the world’s largest crypto exchange), fell by 82% - from maximum of $96.6 billion in January 2022 to $17.3 billion.

ABC.AZ reports that this is evidenced by Bloomberg Billionaires rating.

Bloomberg Billionaires index lowered the revenue estimate of the Binance cryptocurrency exchange by 38% after data showed that company's sales volumes fell this year.

This reduced the fortune of Zhao by $11.9 billion and now it is estimated at $17.2 billion.

Since the beginning of 2023, Zhao's fortune has grown by 37.3% — more than by $4.6 billion.

As of January 1, 2023, it was estimated at $12.6 billion, and at the beginning of 2022 — almost $97 billion.
