October 26, Fineko/abc.az. Following Jan-Sept 2023, out of 20 insurance companies in Azerbaijan, compensation payments of 15 insurers increased and payments of five insurers decreased against Jan-Sept 2022.

ABC.AZ informs that according to CBA report, the largest increase in compensation payments this year was shown by Azerbaijan Industrial Insurance OJSC.

For the past 9 months, this company paid AZN 27.458 million (7.8-fold more than a year ago). The smallest increase in payments is observed at Bakı Sığorta OJSC. This company’s payments amounted to AZN 2.014 million (3.4% more than a year earlier).

The worst situation among the companies whose compensation payments have decreased is in AzSigorta OJSC. Over the past 9 months, this company paid AZN 6.575 million (0.8% less than a year ago). And the best situation with the reduction of payments was observed on AtaSığorta OJSC. This company’s compensation payments declined by 48.9% to AZN 2.358 million.
