October 24, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan plans to cover such new areas as healthcare within the medium-term expenditures in the coming periods.

ABC.AZ reports that Deputy Finance Minister Azer Bayramov stated about this during the 3rd SDG dialogue on the topic "Results of the summit of the Global Sustainable Development Goals for 2023 and the role of supreme audit institutions in implementation of SDGs."

The deputy minister noted that the social sphere is always a priority area in the budget: "In this regard, and in subsequent periods, within the medium-term expenditures, we will achieve an increase in healthcare costs and, ultimately, improve the quality of medical services provided to the population."
