October 20, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan has chosen agent banks for the sale of investment-grade coins of various weights (1 troy ounce, 1/2 troy ounce, 1/4 troy ounce, 1/10 troy ounce) made of high-grade Azerbaijani gold.

The coins were issued to circulation on May 10, 2023, for the first time in the history of our country, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the birth of great leader Heydar Aliyev. 

ABC.AZ reports that the selected banks are Bank of Baku and Turan Bank.
These banks were selected by the decision of the CBA Board for compliance with the requirements established in this area.
Due to the choice of sales agents, the CBA stopped selling and returning investment banknotes directly to the public and banks.
