October 20, Fineko/abc.az. Since the commissioning of Absheron gas condensate field, 453 million cu m of gas from the field have been produced so far. 

ABC.AZ reports that this is stated in an article by Energy Minister Parviz Shakhbazov, published in the official press on the occasion of the Day of the Power Engineer. The article notes that 171,000 tons of gas condensate have been extracted from the field to date.

Absheron gas condensate field, located in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea, about 100 km southeast of Baku, is operated by JOCAP (Joint Operating Company of Absheron Petroleum B. V.). 

The first gas from the field was produced earlier this July. The annual production at the field is planned to increase from 1.5 bcm up to 6 bcm.
