October 17, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan exported 3.1 billion kWh of electricity for $330.438 million abroad for Jan-Sept 2023. 

ABC.AZ informs that these figures are contained in Customs Committee’s report.

Thus, compared with Jan-Sept 2022, the cost of electricity in value terms grew by $293.4 million (9.1-fold) and in quantitative terms by 2.442 billion kWh (4.7-fold).

Electricity exports abroad for Jan-Sept 2022 totaled 16.55 billion cu m for $657.298 million.
Electricity exports made up 1.25% of Azerbaijan's total exports and 13.5% of non-oil exports for Jan-Sept 2023.
Over Jan-Sept 2022, electricity exports made up 0.12% of Azerbaijan's total exports and 1.72% of non-oil exports.
