October 13, Fineko/abc.az. The number of problem loans in Nakhchivan was 3% last year, ABC.AZ reports, quoting NAR Central Bank’s chairman of board Elchin Aliyev.

He noted that as of September 1, 2023, the number of overdue loans fell to 2.1%:

"The low indicator is conditioned with the small territory of Nakhchivan, where psychological influence and public condemnation among the population play a role. The culture of loan repayment in Nakhchivan is higher, and commercial banks face fewer problems here. In this regard, Nakhchivan is a place with a low level of problem loans."
