October 11, Fineko/abc.az. The consumer price index in Azerbaijan for Jan-Sept 2023 made up 110.9% against Jan-Sept 2022, including 112.4% for foods, beverages and tobacco products, 110.1% for non-foods, 109.6% for paid services rendered to the population.

According to the State Statistics Committee, the CPI on non-food products in September made up 100.1% compared with August and 105.9% compared with Jan-Sept 2022.

Out of non-food products, price rise was mainly observed on cement, edged boards and price decline on synthetic detergents and writing paper.

No significant price change was recorded on other non-food products.

The CPI on paid services rendered to the population last month was 100% compared with the previous month and 105.4% against Jan-Sept 2022.
