October 9, Fineko/abc.az. The Baku branch of Bank Melli Iran completed 9 months of 2023 (January-September) with net profit of AZN 2.79 million.

The branch completed the same months of 2022 with net profit of AZN 1.357 million, which is 2-fold more than a year ago.

ABC.AZ reports that for Jan-Sept 2022 the net interest income of the Baku branch of Bank Melli Iran reached AZN 2.389 million, and in 9 months of this year it decreased to AZN 2.148 million.

As of October 1, 2023, the assets of the Bank of Iran amounted to AZN 79.586 million (18% less than at the end of 2022). Of them, AZN 5.636 million are loans given to customers. Over the past 9 months, the loan portfolio of the Baku branch has decreased by 40.4%.
