October 5, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has given instructions to combat unfair competition.

ABC.AZ reports that Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov said about this during today's meeting of the Milli Majlis Committee on Economic Policy, Industry & Entrepreneurship on the Bill on the Approval of the Competition Code.

The minister emphasized that healthy competition is one of the main factors ensuring the economic development of the country.

“Not only entrepreneurs and the state, but also consumers and ordinary citizens benefit from fair competition, lower prices and wider assortments. Artificial barriers serve the interests of only a group of entrepreneurs,” he said.

Jabbarov emphasized that healthy competition is when equal conditions are created for everyone.
