September 19, Fineko/abc.az. The volume of trade between Russia and China has increased significantly.

ABC.AZ reports that Russian Federal Customs Service’s deputy head Ruslan Davydov stated about this.

Noting that Russia's trade with the EU continues to decline, Davydov stressed that this was predictable, and the EU market is closing for Russia.

Davydov cited the example of the automotive market in the context of changes in Russia's foreign trade, saying that in the first 8 months of this year, China had a 92 percent share in Russian car imports: "According to the Russian Autostat, sales of new cars in the country in August increased by 160 percent compared with Jan-Aug 2022 up to 109,700.”
