September 18, Fineko/abc.az. The updated banknotes of 1 manat with Central Bank of Azerbaijan’s signature Taleh Kazimov will be put into circulation from September 18, 2023.

ABC.AZ reports that according to the CBA, the signature is depicted in the upper left corner of the front side of the banknote. The year of issue "2023" is also indicated on the banknote.

The remaining design elements and technical parameters of the updated banknote with nominal value of 1 manat are preserved unchanged, which corresponds to the paper banknote of the same denomination in circulation.

The updated banknote with nominal value of 1 manat will be in circulation in parallel with the banknotes of the same denomination in circulation.
