September 14, Fineko/abc.az. The manufacture of petroleum products in Azerbaijan increased in monetary terms by 13% to AZN 2.97 bn for Jan-Aug 2023 compared with Jan-Aug 2022.

ABC.AZ reports that production of motor gasoline for the past 8 months reached 951,200 tons (a rise of 21.3%), jet fuel – 384,200 tons (a rise of 7.5%), gas oil (diesel fuel) – 1.547 million tons (a rise of 22.4%), lubricating oils – 40,000 tons (a rise of 70.9%), liquefied gas – 159,600 tons (a rise of 8.9%), petroleum coke -160,700 tons (a rise of 37.8%).

The production of fuel oil decreased by 92.3% to 5,200 tons and oil bitumen by 33.4% to 171,500 tons.
