September 5, Fineko/abc.az. The European Statistical Office (Eurostat) has published data on the producer price index (PPI) of the European Union (EU) and the eurozone for July.

ABC.AZ reports that in the eurozone the PPI in July decreased by 0.5% compared to 7.6% year-on-year.

According to the report, PPI in the EU in July decreased by 0.6% compared to the previous month and by 6.6% compared to July 2022.

Market expectations were that the PPI in the eurozone would decline by 0.6% a month and by 7.6% a year.
