September 5, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan imported 548,533 smartphones for $142.869 million for Jan-Jun 2023.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that the number of imported smartphones in annual comparison increased by 4.9 times or by 437,130 phones, and their cost 6.1-fold or by $119.556 million.

Over Jan-Jun 2022 our country imported 111,401 smartphones with total value of $23.312 million.

In the first 6 months of 2023, 381,947 smartphones (69.6%) were imported in Azerbaijan from China, 138,135 smartphones (25.2%) from Vietnam, 28,031 smartphones (5.1%) from India.
