Banks acquired $41.4 million at a foreign exchange auction

September 5, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) held a currency auction with the participation of the State Oil Fund.

According to the CBA, at the foreign exchange auction on September 5, the demand of banks amounted to $41.4 million and was fully secured.

Following the currency auction, the weighted average exchange rate of the manat was formed at the level of 1.7000 AZN/USD.

At the foreign exchange auction on August 31, the CBA sold $51 million to banks.
