Cost of exporting through Export Support Center declines

September 1, Fineko/abc.az. The Export Support Center on the principle of "single window" facilitated the export of goods from Azerbaijan in the amount of $129.4 million in January-August 2023, according to the data of the Center for Economic Reforms Analysis and Communications.

In January-August 2022, this figure was $165.2 million. Thus, for 8 months of 2023, the volume of export assistance decreased by 21.7%.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to Interfax-Azerbaijan that this figure was at $9.8 million in January, $13.6 million in February, $17.5 million, in March, $24.6 million in April, $9.7 million in May, $16.9 million in June, $22.6 million in July, $14.7 million in August.

In 2022, this figure was $269.7 million (an increase of 14.7% compared to 2021).

The Single Window Export Support Center was established in accordance with the decree of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev dated February 22, 2017 "On additional measures in connection with the strengthening of Azerbaijan's position as a digital trade hub and the expansion of foreign trade operations."
