September 1, Fineko/abc.az. In January-July 2023, foreign citizens who visited Azerbaijan carried out transactions through bank cards in the amount of AZN 1.2 billion.

According to the Center for Economic Reforms Analysis and Communications, compared with January-July 2022, the volume of banking operations performed by foreign citizens dropped by 7.7%.

At the end of 2022, foreign citizens in Azerbaijan made transactions through bank cards in the amount of AZN 2,155.3 million.
