August 30, Fineko/abc.az. New gas wells will be drilled in Egypt.

ABC.AZ reports that Egyptian Minister of Oil and Mineral Resources Tarek al-Molla unveiled his country's plans to drill 35 new gas wells by June 2025.

Molla said that by 2025 they plan to drill 45 natural gas wells in the Mediterranean Sea and the Nile Delta, 10 of which will be implemented in the 2022-2023 financial year.

Adding that 35 new natural gas wells will be drilled with investments of more than $1.5 billion by the end of the fiscal year 2024-2025 in June 2025, Molla said that they are aimed at increasing production rates in the country.
