August 24, Fineko/abc.az. Of 24 banks operating in Azerbaijan, 11 paid income tax in January-June this year, and in six of the m the indicated figure was more than in the same period last year.

ABC.AZ reports that these are OJSC International Bank of Azerbaijan, Bank of Baku, Xalq Bank, Bank Respublika and Kapital Bank, CJSC Yapi Kredi Bank Azerbaycan.

Of the remaining 5 banks, three - PASHA Bank OJSC, Express Bank and Azerbaijan Industrial Bank - reduced income tax, and 2 banks - Azer - Turk Bank OJSC and Naxcivan Bank OJSC - paid income tax for 6 months of this year, but didn't pay it for the same period last year, so it was impossible to calculate the dynamics of their tax payments.

13 banks that didn't pay income tax for 6 months of this year didn't pay income tax for the same period last year, either, so it was impossible to calculate the dynamics of tax payments of these banks.
