August 24, Fineko/abc.az. In January-July 2023, the fees of 15 out of 20 insurance companies in Azerbaijan increased compared to last year, while the fees of 5 decreased, ABC.AZ informs according to a statistical report published by the Central Bank.

Over the past year, Azersigorta OJSC demonstrated the largest increase in fees compared to last year. This company collected AZN 18.618 million of insurance premiums over 7 months, which is 2.9 times more than a year ago. The smallest increase in revenues was observed in OJSC Gunay Sigorta. The proceeds from this company amounted to AZN 4.301 million, which is 5.4% more than a year ago.

The worst situation among the companies whose fees have decreased is observed at JSC Xalq Sigorta. The revenue of this company decreased by 40.7% and amounted to AZN 13.447 million. This is while the revenues of A-Qrup Sigorta OJSC decreased by 1% to AZN 10.955 million.
