August 21, Fineko/abc.az. In January-July 2023, banks received AZN 655.3 million of net profit and AZN 931.4 million of operating profit.

According to ABC.AZ which cites the report of the Central Bank, the net and operating profit of banks increased by 33% and 26% year-on-year, respectively.

During the seven months of the year, banks paid AZN 163.4 million in income tax.
