The state registration of a drug with foreign (international) registration recognized in Azerbaijan will be valid for 5 years, according to the amendments of President Ilham Aliyev to the Law "On Medicines", ABC.AZ reports.

In accordance with the changes in the manner prescribed by law, the applicant's appeal for re-registration of a medicinal product that has a recognized foreign (international) registration will be considered. If there are any changes in the statutory documents of a medicinal product that has state registration with a recognized foreign registration, the applicant will contact the authority that issued the permission for state registration of the change.

The appeal is considered by the authority that issued the permit in the manner prescribed by law; after receiving a document confirming the payment of the state fee, the change is accepted for state registration and entered into the state register, and the applicant is presented with a new certificate of state registration of the medicinal product. At the same time, the registration number and the number of the certificate of state registration will not change.
