The number of employees in Azerbaijani banks amounted to 23,241 people as of July 1, up 8% year-on-year.

According to ABC.AZ, this year there were 486 branches and 86 divisions of banks, which is 6 units and 10 units, respectively, less than on July 1 last year.

Also, the number of ATMs amounted to 3,081, which is 2.8% more than in the previous period.
In the current period, the number of POS terminals amounted to 81,775 units, which is 15.5% more than on July 1 last year.
