The State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy transferred AZN 11,231.2 million in taxes to the state budget in January-July of this year.

Compared to the corresponding period last year, tax revenues increased by 22.9% or AZN 2.1 billion, ABC.AZ reports, citing the press service of the State Tax Service.

Revenues from the oil and gas sector amounted to AZN 6.2 billion, marking an increase of 19% or AZN 984.1 million in tax revenues year-on-year. 
Oil and gas sector accounted for 45.1% of the taxes paid and non-oil and gas sector was responsible for 54.9%.
