Industrial enterprises and private entrepreneurs working in this area produced industrial products worth AZN 29.6 billion in January-June 2023 in Baku, down 1.5% year-on-year, ABC.AZ reports, citing the data of Baku city Statistical Office.
According to the information, 80.5% of industrial output was produced in the mining sector, 16.7% in the processing sector, 2% in the production, distribution and supply of electricity, gas and steam, and 0.8% in the water supply sector, waste treatment and recycling.
The share of commercial oil production in the mining sector dropped by 7.8% from the same period last year, and commercial gas production increased by 3.2%.
