The State Service for Special Communications and Information Security of the Republic of Azerbaijan continues activities related to the connection  of state bodies in the city of Nakhchivan and on the territory of the Autonomous Republic to the AzStateNet network and strengthening of security.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the state service that 16 state institutions of the region and electronic information resources of these institutions were transferred to the AzStateNet network during the six months of the year.

State institutions connected to the AzStateNet network from the territory of the Autonomous Republic will be able to exchange data via secure data channels both among themselves and with state institutions connected to the AzStateNet network from other regions of the country, including Baku, and use a secure Internet network.
