August 4, Fineko/abc.az. As of July 1, 2023, 26% of business loans were given in Azerbaijan without collateral. There is an increase of 1% in the amount of business loans given without collateral compared with Jan-Jun 2022. And out of micro-loans, which are one of the types of business loans, 36% are given without collateral. These loans have grown by 31% this year.
ABC.AZ reports that Zakir Nuriyev, the president of the Association of Banks of Azerbaijan (ABA), stated about this.
He noted that at the end of June, 88% of consumer loans were given without collateral.
"There are no differences between Baku and districts of the country when given those loans. Since the debt ratio is mainly taken into account here.
