August 2, Fineko/abc.az. In an interview with Euronews, President Ilham Aliyev also spoke about the peace talks between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports that the head of state said that peace talks are being conducted by the foreign ministers.

"Our meetings in Brussels were organized by the president of the European Council. These meetings actually allow us to touch upon a number of very sensitive issues."
Noting among the sensitive matters the future parameters of borders, the situation with communications, President Aliyev said: "Following Karabakh War 2, Armenia signed an obligation to provide us with access to our exclave — Nakhchivan. But this is still not happening. The ministers pay the main attention to the points of the peace treaty. Our meetings only create good atmosphere. But if we see constructive approach from the Armenian side and, most importantly, if it completely abandons the desire to challenge our territorial integrity, then very soon, maybe even by the end of the year, we will be able to find a peaceful solution."
