Procedure of appointment to post of head of Nakhchivan Central Bank Department changed

July 31, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan will appoint and dismiss the head of its department in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic in coordination with the authorized representative of the relevant executive authority.

ABC.AZ reports that this is stated in the amendments to the Law on the Central Bank, approved by President Ilham Aliyev.

Under the valid law, consent to the appointment and dismissal of the head of the CBA administration was given by chairman of Nakhchivan Supreme Majlis.
