Number of ATMs and POS-terminals has increased

July 25, Fineko/abc.az. The number of ATMs installed by banks in Azerbaijan reached 3,081 cash machines as of June 30, 2023 (0.4% more than at the end of 2022).

ABC.AZ reports that according to the CBA, 1,604 ATMs were installed in Baku at the end of June 2023 (a rise of 0.8%) and in the districts of Azerbaijan - 1,477 (unchanged).

The number of POS-terminals installed at trade and services facilities in the republic amounted to 81.775 terminals (2.44% more than at the end of 2022).

At that, 56,014 POS-terminals were installed in Baku (a rise of 4%) and 25,761 ones in country’s districts (decline: 0.9%).

79,300 or 97% of all POS-terminals were installed in retail facilities for the reported term.
