July 25, Fineko/abc.az. Problems related to currency exchange are most often found in small branches of Azerpocht LLC, ABC.AZ reports, citing postal company’s chairman of board Afgan Jalilov.

He added that Azerpocht has the appropriate license to render financial services and meets the requirements of the regulator.

"So, in accord with the license, it is necessary to carry out cash transactions, collection services, and special safes for storing funds should also be installed. The infrastructure of some small branches does not allow the implementation of these initiatives and we cannot store large amounts there, therefore there are problems with currency exchange. Of course, we are trying to meet the needs of the population in this matter. For example, in central and large branches we have the appropriate infrastructure and citizens can conduct any currency transactions and there are no problems with lack of funds," he added.
