July 25, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan's banking sector made net profit of AZN 563.3 million ($331.35 million) in January-June of this year (+40.55%), ABC.AZ report, citing the CBA.

During the six months, banks' operating income amounted to AZN 2.267 billion ($1.33 billion) (+26.5%), operating expenses to AZN 1.466 billion ($0.86 billion) (+26.9%), allocations to special reserves made up AZN 107.6 million ($63.29 million) (-26.7%), windfall gains stood at AZN 1.1 million ($0.65 million) and profit tax payments accounted for AZN 131.3 million ($77.24 million) (+48.7%).
