Central Bank of Türkiye raised discount rate by 2.5 p.p.

July 20, Fineko/abc.az. The Monetary Policy Committee of the Central Bank of Türkiye has held a regular meeting today.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Committee that at the meeting the discount rate was increased by 2.5 percentage points - from 15% to 17.5%.

The discount rate was raised from 8.5% to 15% at Central Bank’s meeting on June 22, 2023.
