July 17, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has approved the amendments to the Tax Code.

ABC.AZ reports that from May 1, 2023 the production of automobiles in Azerbaijan is exempt from VAT for the period of 10 years.

In addition, from March 1, 2023, for the period of 5 years, the production and sale of equipment, technical means and devices, their spare parts, personal protective equipment, tools, explosives and pyrotechnics are exempt from VAT as part of the cleaning of the liberated territories of Azerbaijan, as well as other territories affected by war and hostilities, from mines and unexploded ordnance, explosive devices and other explosive objects, on the basis of a supporting document of the relevant executive authority.
